West Volusia middle-school runners placed strongly at the Volusia County Middle School Cross Country Championships on Oct.
24 at DeLand Middle School, with DeLand's Reid Bridges finishing second in 12:20.58 and Galaxy Middle School taking third in the boys team standings.
